I've been able to get albendazole from doctors on few occassions but they never give you enough.... as the prescribed dosage is usually a one off pill, or low dose x 3...still not enough... however the excuse I used when I got the pills was that I passed a worm.. and that I'd become resistant to what's on the pharmacy shelf here and needed something stronger... but in the end to continue treatment over a couple of weeks or more I ended up getting Valbazen or Albenz which is liquid oral drench used for sheep - it is exactly the same drug. I got it from farming supplies. I always feel so funny walking into farming supplies shops as I obviously don't know anything about sheep or cattle and it feels very odd to buy this stuff off the shelf.. but anyway I did it.
You can also buy Albenz or Valbazen online too. I know this forum can be a bit touchy about drugs so if you're interested in more... see the drug forum; especially ICU who has a few drug protocols worth reading up on.
