Re: If nobody else can smell it ...
Guys thanks for your input. Today at work again I could still clearly smell the odor. It's very crazy to me because I don't feel like I'm imagining the odor at all. I braved it out today again and ask another co-worker. The conversation went as followed:
Me: "I want you to help me with an experiment."
Co-worker: "OK"
Me: Do you smell anything bad or funny in the back area?" Because I'm smelling something bad in that section, and I think it's coming from me."
Co-worker: Well, I don't smell anything and I've been back there all day. Are you sure you're not smelling the fumes from the computer? Or maybe it's the carpet? Or maybe it's in your head?
Me: I don't think so I've been smelling this same odor for years even before I started working here.
Co-worker: But yea, when we go back there I'll check for you.
After we finished having lunch we went back to the area that we work. She inhaled deeply and said that she didn't smell anything. She tried to smell my computer, and my work area but laughed and told me that she didn't detect anything. Even though I'm still convinced that I'm stinking up the entire bank, I'm going to seek psychological help. I wish there was more documentation on ORS. If i can understand how and why I'm smelling an odor that doesn't exist would probably help A LOT! My struggle continues.
