Yes you do need a referral and your primary doctor should be ok with that unless your insurance doesnt cover toxologist. That might be why you cant be seen by her because of your doctor doesnt want the insurance to pay for it. Make sure you tell them you will pay for the toxologist not them. I know its not fair but thats the only way you will get help. Tweet
