Re: Why do I crave so much water?
I am still an employee, I have been on layoff since last Nov. My time is up June 1st. I have over 29 years in, 4 weeks vacation pay coming if I work this year as well as a retirement plan. We also have zero insurance, so if we get in a car wreck or anything serious and are taken to a hospital we will have everything taken from us as payment to the doctors. Goal one is to get what I have earned retirement and vacation wise, decide if we can live on the herbal hobby and then have to seek a cheap insurance policy that would only cover accidents that would lead to hospitilation.
The herb hobby can dissapear over night, I believe as the Christophers believe; that the sale of herbs will be restricted and eliminated eventually in the USA, so I prefer to have the Schooling more established as a fall back plan. Right now I have less than a dozen students that care enough to do their study books.
Last year we had thieves steal 1/3 of what we made selling herbs and uncle sam took another 1/3 in taxes, this year we have the theif thing under control and paying uncle sam quarterly. So slowly but surely we are leading to depending on the herb sales as an income, I always said if I had 1,000 customers I could quit work and I still do not have 1,000 customers I can depend upon, we maybe have 100 that we could count on to place an order each year.
I don't intend to work at the factory much longer, the new Japansese owners (HONDA veiled)have destroyed 1/2 the work force already in less than 1 year and seek to destroy it enough until all the older people have quit or been fired and the UAW union has worked with them to acheive these goals! Working in factories has to be the lowest thing a human can summit to and I will be glad when I can walk out for good.
Blessings,
MH
