Re: Hypoglycemia?

I'm so sorry - I know where you are. I didn't have blood Sugar issues as much, but I did have some during my first year. I had other neurological problems that were frightening and debilitating. You are on the right path, and you will improve, but it CAN get worse before getting better. It happened often to me. I don't mean to scare you but to assure you that this is typical. I remember thinking, especially in the first 3 months, that things should be better now that the IUD was gone from my body, and yet I thought I was dying. My husband felt I was dying and was very upset. I hid it as much as I could from my kids, but the older ones saw me spending most of the day in bed, and we were all freaked out! Scary times. I am just over 3 months post-removal, but I remember it like it was yesterday. Hang in there. I remember lying down and thinking, Just breathe... an hour would pass by, and I thought, Well I'm still alive. One day, one hour at a time. I think that the hormone imbalance caused by removal is very, very hard on the body. It caused new issues and worsened some old ones for me. BUT, I knew that I was healing at the same time. I knew it was right to have it out. Why do some of us have to pass through fire and brimstone in our recoveries? I don't know. My first year was rough, but every year has brought improvement for me.

Keep posting!
