Re: Sore after chiro sessions

The leg and arm twisting chiropractors use a "cheap" table. While the better chiropractor uses a very expensive table that when the chiropractor pushes on your body, the table moves. The good chiropractor will adjust each vertabra and understands all pain is a restricted nerve often pinched by a bone or a muscle is being pulled by a bone out of place.........

The guys that twist you may not cause you so called "damage" everytime, they just fail to put your bones back in place softly and indivually. Twisting your muscles and tendons as a way to move your bones is not ideal....those muscles and tendons may already be sore and hurting.

Often such a chiropractor with the proper table will also make used of a gental vibrating hammer type device that he can literally hammer your spine back into place so gental you will barely know it.

ALL good chiropractors adjust the skull and mouth plates.....this means your skull plates can be relocated and he will put on gloves and put his hand into your upper mouth and push or pull your mouth back into proper place.........and he may adjust your neck on rare occasion by setting in a chair and may have to put you up against a wall or use a device to put your knee, elbow, wrist, etc. back into place and yes, he can put those many toe bones back into place as well when called for.

Find the best you can, that is all you can do and yup, there are self teaching chiropractor books out there, the only problem is you can not adjust your self.

In the USA there are numerous options for indepentant doctors of all types...not all of them follow the "code" their colleges try to force upon them.
