Re: Raw vegetable diet resources
Thanks for the resources.
Right now I'm just planning on doing it for a week. I am trying to do some major tooth healing, like maybe even regrowing teeth. I know it is next to impossible, but people have done it. From my research, there are three main diets that facilitate teeth healing:
1. Weston Price diet (bone broths, cultured foods, organ meats, etc.)
2. Raw vegetable diets (these probably had other things in them, but I think the emphasis on the diets that worked was vegetables--too many fruits can be bad for teeth)
3. Fasting
I am trying to incorporate all three diets into my own homemade diet. I would think that something like raw vegetable diet would not be as effective if combined with another diet. When you're eating only vegetables, your body is forced to get nutrients from that, so it would be more beneficial. (Of course, I'm not a scientist, but it makes sense to me.) Since I'm just doing each in segments of a week or so, I don't think I'd need to worry very much about malnutrition. I know that teeth have often also rotted on raw food diets, but as I said, I think doing other nutrient-dense foods in other weeks should make up for that.
So... that's my current plan.
If anyone has any thoughts on this, I'd love to hear it, but I've done a lot of research and feel like this is my best course of action at the moment.
