Re: influenza

You are confusing things.

Your white coats are measuring an immuno suppressive toxic PREcursor or better building block to a single sunshine hormone of which there are many and extremely complex working in unison.

The secondary part of this is why should the human body retain so much of this toxic substance? Compare it to the role of Homocysteine and its role in biosynthesized from methionine. Methionine is so precious that after cell death it is saved and bound with a TOXIC amino acid to make Homocysteine. This is to keep critters from stealing it.. Too much Homocysteine and you get heart issues and all kinds of trouble.. When you eat beets or take TMG your body drops all Homocysteine because it can use the methionine in those without unwrapping the toxic amino.
So we know of at least one more system where a toxic substance is used to retain a minute amount of a valuable precursor to metabolic functions..

As for why in winter.. why do people with worms get an immune reaction in spring? Certain weeds are flowering and the beat up immune system wants to give it one more try to rid oneself of the critters...
