Re: Does anyone else feel like crap 24/7?

Did you ever try to juice fast first like I did? I ate mostly salads for the first two or three weeks after my week-long juice fast with a little fish, so really didn't start eating high carb or fruit until almost a month after. I sometimes wonder if this is why I was so successful transitioning? Now I can eat as much whole carbs and fruit as I want with no problems and I'm practically a fruitarian now, mostly fruit and remainder salad & leafy greens.

If you felt always hungry and tired during any low-fat plant-based diet, fruitarian or which ever, that's a classic and most unrealized sign that you weren't eating enough. The low-fat fruitarian experts over at http://www.30bananasaday.com
found that out the hard way too when they first started doing that lifestyle. They recommend at least getting 2,500 cal per day for females and 3,000 for males. Trust me, it makes a BIG difference.

Have you been monitoring your glucose at home? I really urge you do if you haven't.

I also urge people to download and start using http://cronometer.com
to really analyse their diets, no matter which one they are following. When I read about how someone failed a diet, nine times out of 10 I'd say they weren't even following the diet correctly, especially low-fat plant-based diets because most people don't understand they have to eat a lot more to make up the calorie difference from eating so low fat.
