GOUT - Protein, Sugar, Caffeine effects - Kidneys?

Hello all:

I am having gout problems for last three months. My right big toe and the toe joint swell up with excruciating pain when I eat anything that has sugar, caffeine or protein. The first two I did not consume as much, but being a vegetarian I eat beans and nuts a lot, which I have not eaten for last three months. It seems to me that both my kidneys and liver have some issues. Should I do Dr. Schultz's kidney cleanse? What are herbs and teas that are good for the kidneys?

I am doing Liver Flush tonight. In the past Liver-Flush helped me with clearing up gout, but I want to get rid of it so I can eat nuts and beans.

Thanks.
