That's a good idea to use two of the carpules instead of just one, think I'll try that, one on top, one on bottom.
Rainbird, yes, I'd recommend doing the magnesium oil pulling, I don't do it every day myself, but i do rinse with it every day. In the evening, I keep it in my mouth while I wash my face, and then I brush. Re what you said about the calcium toothbrush, I switched to this one, the bristles are soft:

I take a lot of supplements including MSM, vitamin C, alfalfa and kelp tablets, vitamin D, brewer's yeast, dessicated liver,
Lugol's iodine, zinc, gotu kola, fo-ti, lecithin, and a few other things. For dental health I think the alfalfa, kelp, MSM vitamin C and D are the most crucial. Occasionally I use an herbal mouthwash similar to Dr. Christopher's.
I'd encourage you to focus on self-healing rather than going the root planing route!
