Why not use it the way people have used it for thousands of years?
Fry the fresh or dried root in oil which extracts and transfers the essential oils into the carrier oil (the frying oil). From where does the idea that turmeric is poorly absorbed orally come from?
There are dozens of formulas with turmeric (haldi) in ayurveda, ranging from frying in oil, frying in ghee, oral application, transdermal application, fermenting and eating, enemas, etc.
