Re: First Venture Into Iodine Supplementation with Iodoral

there is a need for bromine in the brain. some parkinsons meds contain bromine, trying to get it back in there. it is neither Iodine nor lack thereof that can get that bromine out. its fluoride. and i dont think chlorine is good for that, either.

you got it somewhere. new cars, carpets, drapes, citrus flavored drinks like orange gatorade, orange crush and mountain dew. bromide is also used in bread and flour.

the 100mg is what works. it was originally a figure i came up with in order to keep halogen imbalance from happening in this environment. its a minimum and would think only the most pristine conditions would accommodate that low of a dose. i take about 700mg of KI a day.

now it is my standard start dose. taking less can make the detox symptoms worse. i guess it keeps the other halogens from reattaching somewhere so they can get herded out.

you can take all the pills at once or twice a day. taking it in the evening might produce insomnia.

as a guy with years of experience taking more Iodine than just about anyone on the planet, i can assure you that 100mg is a very modest supplementation of Iodine - a minimum daily dose at best.

and if you have animals, you might consider a source for some bulk KI. critters thrive when they get enough iodine.
