Solar water distillation

Since I live in hurricane country and I experienced the rolling blackouts last year, and I also like to go out on little wilderness forays, I am considering acquiring a solar water distiller and was curious if anyone in the forum has any experience with them or recommendations of brand etc. difficulty of cleaning and such...
