Isn't albendazole actually meant to be MORE effective against giardia than metronidazole?

...much more pleasant drug with less side-effects too (I've tried both drugs). I'd recommend to stay well clear of metronidazole if possible as it's a nasty nasty drug. I ended up in hospital after suffering from the nervous side effects of metronidazole such as seizures and convulsions after trying a big dose. Took months for the nerves in my hands to stop tremoring and return to normal.
