Re: yellow pee means increase of toxins +Edit
Yellow pee to my understanding shows a higher concentration of urea, which is one of the active anti-pathogenic components and also helpful for hydration of tissues, and, when consumed, increases levels of the anti-oxidant glutathione. Yellow (amber) pee can also mean a higher level of bilirubin, which would indicate that not all is well with one's liver, but it is not toxic and in fact, urine therapy has been used historically to treat jaundice. It's a good idea to get test strips to answer these questions for oneself if one's urine is consistently a deeper color of yellow.
The topic of actual toxins in urine is an interesting one. Most toxins will have already been neutralized by your liver before being filtered through the kidneys, so what we are getting are the metabolized toxins. I wonder if there is some kind of homeopathic-type feedback loop, so that if we ingest these metabolites it encourages the body to do more efficient detoxing.
The exception is metal, which we however usually do not expel in urine, but hold in the body in nerves and fat. Small amounts of metals do appear in the urine though, and my limited understanding is that this would be in response to a recent exposure, in other words, if yesterday you got an
Amalgam filling taken out or put in, you can expect to see a small amount of mercury in your urine. If I were working in some kind of factory with constant metal exposure, I would probably limit my UT to a few swallows in the morning.
hope this helps.

I'd like to correct my message above. I cannot recall where I read that urea translates to more glutathione, so please do not rely on that statement. Thanks.
