Please Help me. I'm so sick and depressed, about to lose it.

This hell started in July 2012, and I'm asking for your thoughts on my situation. Before I get started, thank you for your patience:

July 2012:

Bitter/sour/metallic taste in mouth that remains constant alternating with nausea

I started taking zantac and it took it away, for awhile.

August 2012:

Bitter/metallic taste
Right sided chest pains that are like spasms which are sharp or dull that starts after I eat

I took powdered magnesium one night and it shut the spasms down completely

Woke up with severe right sided chest spasms again, go to ER, heart is checked out fine, doctor says acid reflux and esophageal spasms, sends me home with protonix

Protonix is too expensive, I toss it and start taking prilosec

Within a week, prilosec has me in total agony. Everything is worse. I stop prilosec. I go on a very restricted diet.

September 2012:

These "attacks" of pain and metal mouth continue off and on unabated. Zantac no longer helping bitter metal mouth. I start to have more right sided chest spasms after I eat. Sometimes when I don't eat.

October 2012:

Chest spasms in right side start up second week of Oct. along with bitter metal mouth. Sometimes coming on after I eat, or do not eat for hours. Pain in upper right stomach which burns sometimes, sometimes on left side.

Food makes it worse. Even with restricted diet.

Go to ER in a panic with bad pain in chest again, they run more heart tests on me and they say it is GI, not heart. I am given a sono for Gallbladder and they find a bunch of small gallstones. They say the walls of my bladder are not thickened and that I am not inflamed. Perfect blood work, perfect LFT levels. No jaundice, No fever.

So they send me home and tell me to go to a surgeon.

Here's my question that 3 doctors that I have seen last month cannot seem to answer:

1. Can Gallstones cause these chest pains after eating, the bitter metal mouth, and esophageal spasm?

2. Since my blood work is normal and I'm not critical with my gallbladder, is it possible that all I am fighting is GERD?

I am in hell. I have been in pain every day for 3, going on 4 weeks without much of a break. Either it's always dull, or sometime sharp and stabbing in the chest and the BITTER taste will not go away. When I eat, the bitter metal taste floods my mouth so much I cannot taste my food.

Please, anyone..... tell me what this is. I have a little girl counting on me... she needs her mother...

Bless you and thank you for your time
