Re: Dr. Knight's response

UserV, here is Dr. Knight's response to the discussion and your comments in this thread:

"Dear Pam,

Apparently this is a misquote, or typo, since I just searched the large web site http://www.vitaletherapeutics.org

and there does not seem to be any mention of "silicone" except in reference to the "silicon (Si)" element and "silica" as a likely breakdown product causing problems in "silicone"
implant survivors. You can search this web site yourself with the google search engine provided:
http://www.vitaletherapeutics.org/search.html

"Silicone" does seem to be misspelled in the WAPF article referenced, p.41, Summer 2008, so maybe this is the source of contention. There were a lot of mistakes in the Weston A. Price article, and people have since changed both physical and on-line names and addresses as they try to adapt to a tenuous existence in the healing circles.

Silicon is the element, of course, and silica is the oxidized version typically found in sand. The difference between the "DE"tox, as we like to call it, and sand is that the former is very porous and only about
10 microns in diameter. Thus, it is far more efficient in terms of surface area than sand, yet sand is used as a filtering agent in many municipal water supplies in stark contrast to User V's contentions.

Besides, the "DE"tox is not being used by me, at least, at homeopathic concentrations, but more of a mass action leaching agent. Few people know what osmolarity is and how chemical equilibriums work, so I used "siphoning" as something that people might be able to understand, instead of more appropriate chemical terms. I have used silica as a thin-layer chromatography method, and even have a dye (reagent) that can distinguish metal toxins to do further studies. The best method, however, for detecting metal toxins and impurities is probably MALDI Mass Spectrometry, which we used extensively in our work to disprove the
detractors:

If I don't tone down the scientific terminology a bit, even the world class immunologists, like the one in Taipei, Taiwan who first said, "My God you've cured cancer", after looking at our modest poster for just a few minutes, and later told me to "Shut up and don't talk to me anymore", which he later explained was simply because he was overloaded with information and needed to digest and process what I'd already told him.

The secret to success, btw, is to outlive ones detractors and rewrite their epitaphs. History does not always go to the victor. ;^{) There are many people out their who just want to snipe and even steal ideas, and not bother to read or check references. One can read about diatomaceous earth on the entire PubMed database, where I found the literature supporting its removal of many toxic substances BEFORE I used it for 6 years myself and saw all my health problems go away, and even my vision is better than it was 30 years ago, although this may be a natural trend for near-sightedness. For example, on http://www.ncbi.nih.gov/pubmed

In dealing with people over the years, I've had to change an old adage, at least for my way of thinking so that I don't get attached to outcomes, even for supreme court justices who have recently died of thyroid cancer:

"One can lead a horse to water, but one can't make an ass drink" and I use ass in the Biblical sense as in what Mary sat on the donkey with as she rode into Bethlehem. Just kidding, of course.

I've also published in the J Lipid Res. to show that it is the oxidation of cholesterol that makes it harmful to us, probably through the 24,25 epoxide capable of poisoning vitaletheine: Johnson, K. A., Morrow, C. J., Knight, G. D., and Scallen, T. J. 1994. In vivo formation of 25-hydroxycholesterol from endogenous cholesterol after a single meal, dietary cholesterol challenge. J. Lipid. Res., 35(12): 2241-2253. Even the way we cook foods containing cholesterol, like egg dishes, can adversely affect our health.

During a 6 year lawsuit all the way to the US supreme court, we found out that data and information had been falsified under my name in the patent office by Floyd Taub, et al., in an apparent attempt to steal and suppress my work. This fraud was admitted to the supervisory patent examiner in the prosecution history of one of Taub's patent applications, and even admitted by UNM's expert witnesses, one of them an admitted CIA contractor.
BTW, the Spanish acronym for UNM is "UeNeeMe" which if said quickly is UEnemy.

Also, Jane Henney, now a former head of the FDA was brought in to replace the Dean of the School of Medicine who would not throw us out of the university at the behest of the cancer center. We consider this a "Henneyous" suppression of our work, especially since at the time we had
90 to 100% response rates in the worst form of melanoma we could model and in myeloma that would always kill the mouse once established. Respectively, these translated into 70 to 100% cure rates for the lifetime of the mice, which I was forced to finish without funding. I was being blacklisted by UNM in preparation for a lawsuit structured to disenfranchise the true inventors fraudulently. The judge "Conway" refused us a 7th Amendment Jury trial for anything worth more than $20, and the beef was that I wouldn't resign a fraudulent assignment saying that a "cure for cancer" as others have called my work, was only worth $10, and that I'd already received the
$10 from UeNeeMe, which I hadn't. They probably spent about $1,000,000 of taxpayers dollars trying to suppress my work, counting all the litigation and patent fraud they conducted globally.

In the end, it cost me my time and copies, while the entire state of NM also lost their sovereign immunity. The truth sometimes hurts, and an effective treatment for cancer could bankrupt an already bankrupt federal system that has already spent all our taxes paid to "SS", medicare, and medicaid. Has-Ben Bernanke even had the audacity to call the baby boomers a threat to this country soon after assuming the role of chairman of the federal reserve?

Another of our web sites has been corrupted, so I plan to check that out next to see if it has been hacked and the silicon terms modified surreptitiously to "silicone". I can't rule out the possibility that I've made a mistake and typed silicone instead of silicon, but I always admit my mistakes and try to correct them, unlike some people.

I was still being black-listed as of just last year,as reported by an astute person at the Community College in Espanola, NM of all places, at a seed sovereignty meeting put on by the Four Bridges Traveling Permaculture Institute and others, and this black-listing apparent started in 1994/1995.

If one delves more into our work, one will discover a possible explanation for why mercury is so hard to deal with, and why so many people are running around toxic with metals, and even other substances, that poison the vitaletheine modulators. Homocysteine and its dimer not only look like vitaletheine, but they trap and chelate metal toxins so that when one starts to remove the metal toxins with DE, the toxic homocysteine and its dimers get you, and when one removes the homocysteine and hopefully its dimers with the B vitamins, particularly the B6, B12, and Folic acid, then the metal toxins get us. A carefully coordinated approach is indicated.

I like the following chart better than the slide presented in our awards-winning presentations for the Weston A. Price Foundation and the Freedom Law School. Although the slide show has more current information than graphs on our web site, the latter has more explanation about what is actually going on with the solubility product data, the very chemical equilibrium information that User V complained about not seeing. Too bad he didn't just look:

http://www.vitaletherapeutics.org/vtlrefab.htm

Also note the slideshow slides that raise the alarm about microorganisms evolving in the raw sewage that dumps into rivers, like the Rio Grande about once a year, at, you got it....Espanola. When contaminated with mercury the otherwise friendly flora in the sewage evolve to deal with the toxic problem by methylating the mercury, which makes it many orders of magnitude more difficult to remove from our fatty tissues if these mutated organisms are reintroduced into our bodies, and also more toxic, a single drop of the dimethylmercury killing a health researcher in a matter of months after it penetrated through both layers of her gloves before she could get the gloves off.

You may want to check out the horsetail recommendation by albalover thoroughly on http://www.ars-grin.gov/duke.

One specie has mercury and the other has carcinogens like quercetin, carcinogens being something one can also look up on this database. Before I recommend anything, I check on several information databases and try it on myself first, which most people and practitioners would not generally consider.

I did have healing crises:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herxheimer_reaction

(Note the die-off effects upon treatment with MERCURY!)

I had an old skiing, medial tendon injury get sore for about 9 months before starting to get progressively better since then. I now can stack
13 tons of hay by hand to the roof of a two story barn in a few days...
no problem, and I'm approaching 59. I used to do this type of work when I was a preTEEN and TEENAGER. I just lifted a piano into a trailer a few months ago for a friend, and believe me, my leg and arm that once had a tennis elbow type of disability were working just fine. I don't know many people who can even pick up one end of a piano by themselves, let alone lift it enough and also push it into the trailer to load it.

You might want to note that User V apparently is responding to lots of Iodine supplementation questions, and may perceive himself or herself as some type of expert on the subject. While I think that vitaletheine's sulfenyl Iodide may be very important in protecting vitaletheine from inactivation by both epoxides and enols, User V seems to have an axe to grind that's not related to the science:

http://www.vitaletherapeutics.org/vtlcsmal.htm

User V also seems to be harping a lot on that particular misspelling or typo, which I find can be a really good sign of behavior indicating metal toxicity. Note that mobilizing metal toxins is not a good idea, because of the co-precipitation of metal toxins and homocysteine and homocysteine dimers, so I recommend against systemic chelators like DMPS, DMSA, EDTA, etc., as a rule. Some people don't even survive a bout with these systemic chelators. I also would consider that MSM or MethylSulfonylMethane is suspected by some of being the active ingredient in DMSO, and I wonder if the use of DMPS or "DMSA" is sometimes confused with "DMSO", again, a possible typo or misquote.

I actually got my dissertation for figuring out that the whole iodination pathway for producing thyroid hormone probably proceeds through a mechanism that doesn't even involve the "thyroid peroxidase artifactual protein fragment" that other research scientists had studied previously for
decades:

http://www.vitaletherapeutics.org/disrtatn.htm

I was able to get beautiful kinetics confirming my work in graduate school:

http://www.vitaletherapeutics.org/ipreface.htm

Believe me, telling the truth about Science can make a lot of enemies, especially when one proves someone else wrong or dishonest, and especially when they cannot admit or face their mistakes.

Please see the slide show, infra, which has a lot more current information than even the Weston A. Price Foundation article.

The bottom line is that I used "DE"tox, the Fossil Shell Flour from Perma-Guard for more than six years and appear to be in perfect or near-perfect health. I did supplement with minerals that proved a little low in hair analyses during the initial stages of the "DE"tox, but I used a third of the recommended dose to completely restore normal levels of essential nutrients. The manufacturer of that supplement was so impressed that he reformulated the mineral supplement is used along our suggestions to make it even safer and more effective, and he is now using much of our research himself to try and get well. So far so good for him.

I'm just trying to put the truth forward and get it out there, and I don't even know who User V is, or his or her credentials....Gotta go, this is making me thirsty. {;^{)
