IS (Ionic Silver)is composed of silver ions - is very effective on the outside of the body, or in a neti pot or to use in the mouth and throat area. My wife is an allergic asthmatic and normally has 4 to 8 severe sinus infections a year,requiring heavy Antibiotics , since using IS in a nebulizer she has not had a single upper infection. I could not take back the silver from her even if I wanted to(which I do not!)
