I should have also said that you may need to find new friends to hang out with. Drunken "Friends" are not really friends.

They will be intent on getting you drunk right along with them. If you don't drink with them, they will start calling you names, like sissy, and you are not a MAN unless you can slug down a 6 pack, etc. etc. Misery loves company. It will be difficult to impossible to quit drinking by hanging around with drunken bums.

The same story for druggies. Their misery loves company as well, and they will do everything and anything to get you hooked on drugs.

Just say NO while you still can. It is difficult, but your health hangs in the balance.

We want to choose friends that lift us up, not drag us down into drunken or drugged up stupors.
