Re: Why does red wine clear my white tongue?

James,

Thanks for the additional reference.

I did not experience any side effects from the Tanalbit that I'm aware of. I took more than the recommended dosage and tolerated it well.

The bile salts have been an important part of my recovery. There was a time when taking the bile salts prior to a series of flushes, actually cleared my psoriasis. http://www.nleducation.co.uk/news/bile-acids-wide-ranging-benefits-including-...

This is how I knew that I needed to restore my bile flow. It's even more critical for me now that I don't have a gallbladder.

Even though I supplement with bile salts, it's still important to make sure that my own liver is functioning at optimum capacity as well, to be able to accept the supplementation without causing further build up of bile salts in the blood stream.

Your reference is interesting to me, because it suggests that I have to be extra conscious of my dosage since I don't have a gallbladder to regulate it any longer.

With respect to dosage, the only experimentation that I've performed is to increase the dosage taken with each meal. If I experience diarrhea shortly after the meal, then I know that I've exceeded the proper dosage for that particular meal.

As a result of the reference you provided to me, I'm going to pay more attention to the dosage and subsequent impact on my energy levels.

Thanks!
