I had the good fortune to work at a call center that refilled prescriptions. That is what opened my eyes. I could not believe the amount of meds that the medical profession had patients taking. Horrible amounts of pills that were taken each and every day. It was not abnormal for a person to refill 25 or more prescriptions at a time......I was stunned.

At the time I was on seven drugs and on my way to more. I got my act together and have reduced that amount to 3 and refuse to add anymore to my regimen. I am working on getting rid of the last three and that will probably happen in a couple of months. I would love to do that kind of work again.....needless to say, I learned a lot. I am so happy that I am a senior citizen and don't have to worry about birth control. I read the side effects of those meds and you might as well give women straight poison.....my opinion only.
