Re: infection, acidic, bitter, foamy urine on fast, what to do?

Good try and you should do it again. Even though you felt unwell from the urine, I doubt your symptoms were caused by the bitter urine, probably more likely from withdrawal and from healing. Armstrong gives a few cases of people ingesting foul urine with wonderful results in the end. When I first fasted I lasted about a day, next time 3 days and I was miserable. After that 6 days was quite easy then I learned to stop alcohol and coffee at least a week before and 14 days was quite easy.

I think you should start again when you are ready and the symptoms will be less each time you fast. From reading Armstrong's book I think 21 days is the minimum for most persistent ailments. I have only completed 10,13,14 days in recent years and next month I intend to try for 21 days plus. It is not easy for me because I am weak willed and I run my own business from home.

We all have difficulties and I cannot understand how Armstrong got assistants to urine massage his patients, I have to do myself each morning in the bath. Keep persisting, I am sure it will get easier and from his accounts all should be fixed for you in 21-30 days at best guess.

I am sure your unpleasant fasting symptoms will decrease substantially each time you fast. Try for 5-7 days at a time twice more with a week or month between, then do the long one.
