Re: SEB PICS: Detailed history, diagnosis and condition management

ec parent make sure you used elovera cream after trying the beta gel.
step by step clearly states he wasnt sure if it was one of the creams or a combination. but i would think it owuld more be the elovera cream thats works best. and he clearly states that he has to continually use the elovera cream 3 times a day to keep his dry ec chapped lips away.

also seb thanks for coming back to share. i really appreicate it. i dont mean to be negative but a few of us have had readings of staph infections. and most of our derms and docs said its secondary.

i have used bactorban on my lips and also in my noise and also taken at least 4 types of anti-biotics to kill bacteria and unfortunately i still have ec. now i do know that staph can sometimes be really hard to rid of the body so maybe indeed ec is caused by staph but i highly doubt it. i think most people with ec would first think of ec being casued by a bacteria infection. the problem is when leaving the crusts on lips the skin rips and crusts and causes a great breathing ground for bacteria to get into due to the broken skin.

i guess time will tell if your correct. becasue if it is caused by staph your lips should heal in the next few weeks and go back to complete normal! so please keep us updated and send us some pictures!

i got my fingers crossed you can say the c word soon!!!
good luck man and keep us posted!
