I read your doctor's article about "Adrenal fatigue" and while I think it is very informative, I think he is missing some key pieces. He realizes that there really are no problems with the adrenals and focuses on the HPA system for treatment. He says the culprit is stress but you have to go even deeper in my opinion. Treating on the level of the HPA system is similar to what a lot of people are doing here, which is focusing on treating symptoms.

What is causing problems with the HPA system? It's more than just taking on too much stress. It's about the bodies survival freeze response which has been activated causing the body to be stuck in a sympathetic dominant state.
