Re: When will my white tongue go away???
I was diagnosed with "Candida Albicans Complex" 4 months after a sexua| encounter.
I have been tested for HIV and other things in the last months. A summary of my results can be seen here:
http://www.medhelp.org/user_journals/show/553718/Unexplained-tongue-problems-...
I am with this white tongue problems for the last 3 months. The symptoms I have are:
- White tongue
- Teeth marks in the tongue's borders
- Hyper salivation
- Irritated taste buds tip tongue
Someone wrote below that "real oral thrush hurts...you can't scrape it out of your tongue because it is too painful"
I don't have this problem. But the white layer is still there and it's not easy to scrape it off.
I am trying baking soda before washing my teeths but the white commes back. I think my tongue is white because the hyper salivation.
This week I will get results of a new oral swab to see if the candida overgrowth persists. I have read everywhere this is absolutely not normal in healthy people and I am still scared about HIV despite the negative results.
If anyone has the same 4 symptoms as I do please let me know.
Thanks.
