Hi Ken,
post fast refeeding is usually with vegan or plant-based foods as they are not concentrated, and therefore far less taxing on the digestive energies. Meat and other animal products such as cheese are considered by most to be too difficult to digest, and at a time when the digestion needs to be re-nurtured into its full vigour: this takes time, and at least as many days as the fast itself. Enzyme replenishment during the refeeding stage will also bring back the intestinal flora that is also needed for proper and efficient digestion.
All of the above would not apply if natural and genuine hunger has returned, or on a fast to completion, when you could break it with meat, but this is not advisable without experienced and qualified supervision.
