Your description and videos of your gas are eerily similar to my current situation... and I've been debating taking videos myself since nobody seems to understand... good for you for having the courage.

It's been 9 months of it now for me, I've had a million vials of blood drawn, xrays, ultrasounds, etc... and docs can't figure it out/believe I'm not just making it all up. I've screwed around with diet endlessly to no avail. I was 20 pounds underweight before this hit so... it's obviously been bloody hard on me. It started when I tried to quit smoking and got *extremely* constipated. I resumed smoking, cleared myself out, and the gas hasn't stopped since... and seems to be growing. The strongest thing I've gotten so far is Blastocystis identified in a couple stool samples, but all of my docs refuse to acknowledge it as the cause of my issues. Since "dealing" with that means supposedly means cutting out all carb (which seems impossible as a significantly underweight person... and an overworked high school teacher at that), tons of supplementation and/or hardcore Antibiotics , I've been hesitant to plunge into treating Blasto full force. I've seen 3 different GIs, an internist, and a bunch of other specialists. I'm getting scoped (gastroscopy & colonoscopy) in December.

My greatest sympathies... we'll figure this out. Tweet
