Hello,
I would like to ask other CureZone members their opinion on two health concerns that I do not think are natural.
One of the symptoms that has gotten progressively worse in the past couple of years is bloating and gas. This bloating sensation can come on at any time during the day, whether I have eaten or not.
One thing I notice is that if I push into parts of my abdomen, I hear a squelching/sloshing sound, as if there is liquid moving around - like I've drunk a few glasses of water. However, this can occur regardless of whether I've eaten or drunk anything at all.
Here is an example video. You'll see I'm clasping my hands and pushing down on the bottom of my abdomen:
This sloshing sound is often associated with a feeling of bloating and a need to pass gas. Rather than sit on the toilet and strain to break wind, I practise one or two yoga techniques that help to pass the gas easily. I naturally feel much better (less bloated in my abdomen) after passing the gas. However in recent months I've noticed there is more and more gas being passed, sometimes it feels almost endless. As if after passing some gas, it's just replaced with more.
Again, the gas can happen at any time - even on an empty stomach, and after emptying my bowels. Indeed, after going to the toilet, I feel that nice 'empty' sensation, but maybe 10 minutes later I'll be bloated and need to pass wind.
This video was taken this morning, shortly after emptying my bowels (I hadn't eaten any breakfast at this point), and shows me passing the gas:
This is what I do not understand - if there's nothing in my stomach and my bowels have been emptied, where is all this gas coming from? The gas is odourless (just air), and there is never any faeces. However, I do notice a little mucus from my anus, and it stings when I wash in the shower.
Obviously, this is an embarrassing (and rather gross) video to be posting publicly, however I'm honestly out of ideas. My condition does not appear to be improving, so where else can I turn for advice?
J
