Re: I cant take it anymore!!!!!
Nile, I'm excited that you're running! Like you, I notice that I feel worse if I back off. I just run 2-3 miles at a time, 3 times a week, and that seems to be a good balance. My shins bother me if I increase my distance or frequency.
Cynthia, Oh, I feel for you! I was also wondering if you'd weaned yet. If so, that would explain it. If not (and trust me, I encourage long nursing with little ones), then maybe she's decreasing her frequency or amount of milk. Maybe this is causing your hormones to shift.
Here is something interesting to me: I started taking an herbal supplement with both wild yam and vitex (small amounts). Both of these help with hormone balance, and the vitex at least takes a couple months to start working. But after just 2 days of taking the supplement, I could feel a difference! An awful difference! It was like I'd been pushed into the middle of my period or ovulation or something (and I'm not in the middle of either). My head was so dizzy/spacey feeling, my body shaky. I stopped after a couple days, and now I'm feeling back to normal (as normal as I get anyway). I'd like to try it again to test it, but I'm afraid to. Why am I so sensitive to even the slightest hormonal shifts? Sheesh!
Gotta go-
Take care, Friends!
