You know Cynthia, even though I'm doing better in general, I'm having an awful month this month. It started with the herb supp I took with wild yam and vitex. I only took it for a couple days, and it's made me feel all weird. I'm going to steer clear of anything that might affect my hormones specifically. I'm feeling achy, like I'm running a fever, strange chills on my scalp today (for the first time since my first year post), horrible restlessness at night, distorted vision, and very spacey. And this is usually the GOOD time of my cycle, after ovulation and not quite to my period yet! Sheesh!
Just had to vent there. Know that you are not alone. I feel that better days are ahead of you, depending on when your hormones start to shift in the right way. Hang in there! Don't stress about hard exercise yet - just try to walk when you can, for a short distance (like down your driveway and back?), and work up from there very slowly. When I started running, I started very slowly, just a short distance a couple times a week, and I felt awful for awhile at first. I would feel shakier for a couple hours afterward, and yet, overall, it didn't worsen my condition. After a month or so, I finally started to notice some improvement. I'm not saying you should push yourself if you're not ready, but this was my experience. When I started, it was because it finally felt right.
