Re: Magnesium intolerance

I noticed that ur message was posted quite a long time ago, but I am having similar issues. I was wondering if you have additional thoughts to add now.
I have absorption issues and am the brink of osteoporosis. I am only 41 years old. My vit. D is low but I have extreme fatigue issues when I take supplements. When I take magnesium supplements my hr goes up and my heart "pounds" for several days. I even went to the emergency room the first time I took magnesium because my hr spiked up to 140 within two hours. I have tried a small dose of 100mg, but still increase my hr to an unhealthy level. I have hypothyroidism too. Drs are puzzled. Anyone have any suggestions. Oh when I don't take magnesium I have muscle cramps, muscle twitches all over my body and foot and leg cramps.
