i think the reason that a lot of newbies think Iodine works for mercury is that it can make you feel better relatively fast compared with other types of therapies. this is probably due to optimizing thyroid function, killing off pathogens and all the other great things that Iodine does.

but it doesn't mean that you are getting rid of mercury. actually maybe it could work by raising people's body temp and making them sweat more.

all you have to do is look at the periodic table to realize that it only works on the halides.


now if only copernicium wasn't radioactive then we'd have a great element with a higher atomic weight than hg and gently push that crap out.
