However, some health conscious people claim that the micronized zinc oxide has particles SO tiny that they can actually enter the body/bloodstream through the skin, which they believe is dangerous. Opinions on this vary.
There are no health concerns at all with the regular zinc oxide, which is a natural, "barrier" type sunscreen, meaning it protects from the sun by actually creating a physical barrier on the skin that the sun can't penetrate.
