Re: Breastfeeding after Mirena

I know breastfeeding has something to do with it. . .I got Mirena at my 6 week check up. I bf until he was 15 months. As soon as my milk started drying up, I started getting symptoms. I didn't know that early they were from Mirena. It seems like the bf was protecting me from the hormones in Mirena. Now I know they are not supposed to put them in that early after childbirth, and that there are added risks putting them in lactating women. (plus my tilted uterus). My OB should NEVER have suggested one.
