Breastfeeding after Mirena

Hi Everyone, it's been a while since I have updated my story and I know there were lots of questions about pregnancy after Mirena. I was feeling pretty good 14 months after having the Mirena out and then got pregnant accidentally. I felt great during the pregnancy and had my baby Nov 2010. I breastfed for almost 8 months and felt great during that time. Then I started having lots of spotting and the head foggy feeling. I finally decided 3 mos later that I better stop the breast feeding because my hormones were feeling weird. Sure enough, it has been almost a year since I stopped the breast feeding and things have gotten steadily worse. I just feel very sensitive to hormones I guess. My dr did say that after something as big as the Mirena it makes since that you could be overly sensitive to hormones. She is pretty sure it is low Progesterone because of the spotting right before my period. Symptoms I have been having are:
brain fog
electrical buzzing in foot
pinpricks
muscle weakness all over my body and some spasms(feels like I have been working out but haven't)
heart palps
throat feeling like it's closing
not being able to lose any weight
anxiety
shortness of breath
numb deltoid area
I do know that my DHEA and vit D are low.
I don't want to deal with Mirena symptoms for a year like I did last time so I am using the bioidentical progesterone cream. Since she feels like this is perimenopause she says that the progesterone my body produces each month is different and the dose will have to change based on that. I've only been using it a month but a few sx have gone away. Don't know if thats just a coincidence. The muscle weakness is the worst sx and makes me not want to do anything but I am refusing to let it stop me in my tracks like it did a few years ago. If anyone has any questions I'll be glad to answer them. Any insight anyone has in this would be much appreciated.
