Re: 2 weeks post Mirena Removal

Hi,
Please dont worry! I hear that there continue to be side effects but they wont go on forever. In my research I've read that the increased copper levels throw your estrogen levels off and I believe a combination off copper toxicity and raging hormones are the root of the stress reaction. Do some research on how to balance your copper levels. I am taking zinc supplements and trying to avoid caffeine, I am not sure if that is why I haven't had any crashes but it is cheap and worth a try! I had my copper IUD taken out a little over a month ago, I had mine in for 8 years and searched google for an explanation of my terrifying PMS that was occurring one day or so after my period. I feel so much better already and have only had slight side effects, like some anger but nearly no anxiety! Being able to say that brings tears to my eyes!

GOOD LUCK- actually You wont need it, diet and supplements will help and may not even be necessary, now that the exposure is gone I promise you will feel better and better! Much love to those who struggle with this, we are so lucky to be able to share this because the professionals refuse to recognize it, they end up putting us on anti depressants and calling us crazy! both of my doctors have been women!!! JERKS! Why hasn't any thing come out of the thousand of experiences of women struggling with the exact same side effects. The discoveries are rich with potential and could save so many people from going through this!

The following are my observations of my emotional/mental state while I had the ParaGaurd/copper IUD

Stress, anxiety, panic, memory loss, spaciness, anger, my slight claustrophobia intensified and would cause panic attacks, social anxiety, aggression, low sex drive, low self esteem, loss of confidence (likely due to my social anxiety), paranoia, untrusting and suspicious, doubtful...

The following are observations of physical experiences
Cramping for the first 3 yrs, heavy flow, discharge, 15/25 pound weight gain fluctuation, throat and lung issues, feeling of being unable to catch my breath/get enough oxygen....

Maybe this will be helpful to someone, Thank everybody who is sharing their experiences because if it wasn't for that and I took the word of my physician, I would likely be on the road into the complicated world of prescription drugs for mental health before preventative methods were considered at all!
