How do you know it's mold? I'm just asking because my mead did not turn out ok too but I'm not sure how to say if it has mold in it or not.
what I got is just rather "muddy" looking stuff with a lot of herbs and all the lemon stuck on top of it and even adding second pouch of yeast did not start the fermentation again which I was hoping would happen
this is really the proof that making mead is not so easy and rather very tricky and I guess it's a learning path
next time I would just start with a very small bottle and only a few spoons of herbs because this time so much of it got wasted
unless somebody can tell us that it's still ok so save it somehow, seems nobody knows though, not even much info on the internet about this
