iodine is absorbed before it ever makes it in to the small intestines (except for possibly iodoral). anyway, it gets into the system and BELONGS there. the total body burden of Iodine in a person who is sufficient being about 1500mg. if anything, i would say Iodine promotes good flora and fauna, not the other way around. i know what a dysbiosis is and i have taken far more Iodine at one time than anyone here ever would and i just dont see the problem. enough to cause such a problem would also be otherwise very uncomfortable, like in the 5-10 gram range. no danger of you doing that, i imagine.
