...Petroleum; and a combination of chemicals and machines on our land.

Soil micro-organisms (which feed plants) die when the soil dries to dust.


...But, each and every one of us can encourage soil micro-organisms by SCATTERING all the saved seeds we can get our hands on.

Scattering them where they are likely to find water in the soil - low-lying land near water.
