Re: Getting Mirena out tomorrow!

WOW I have to say that it is definitely mirena. I have all of the symptoms you just mentioned and more. I as well had a total of two mirenas 6 1/2 years total and I will be 3 years post removal on sep. Sadly I have not been able to recover from this nightmare but I have to say that it's getting better although some days it feels like Im at step one.

Don't feel discouraged if you don't get better right away after removal because for some of us it actually got worst for some time but eventually you will start seeing better days than with mirena. For some of us here is taking longer than others and we dont know the reason but we sure know that mirena was the cause of all of our problems. I been to drs and many tests and no answers other than a positive ANA and so many bills to pay.

I'm curious about the kind of test they did to diagnose you with bilateral vestibular dysfunction and polyneuropathy . I googled it and it describes my symptoms. Actually those are one of my worst symptoms until this day. the only difference is that none of my drs have been able to give me the name of this problem and when I tell them how I feel they see me like I'm crazy. I really hope that your recovery doesnt take as long as mine but if it does dont think for once that you made a mistake by taking the mirena out because it's no coincidence that so many of us never had a health problem prior to mirena.
