Be absolutely sure you are parasite free. I made the mistake in thinking I was and I passed it on to my baby. I had serious pregnancy problems for nine months. I was also extremely tired i think more then usual mothers would be at that stage. On my 8th month of pregnancy I experience painful red throbbing in my hands and feet. They turned bright red and when I went to my doctor she was completely useless. She told me to go home and take some benadryl for the pain. I knew something was wrong so i went to another family clinic and they took some blood work. They came back and told me I have problems with my liver. I went back with a doctors note and thats when they took me seriously. That day I was tested for different things and they concluded I needed to be admitted that day. I was having complications and my child was in trouble. They told me they would induce labor because he would be stillborn if they wait until my trimester was over. Doctors don't know everything and if I listened to my doctor I would not have my son alive today.
