Re: Copper and Mirena Similarities
I spent a good few hours last night reading thru all the stories, and OMG, they are the same as ours!! It gives me hope that maybe it's not the silicone after all (boy, I'd love to go back to my silicone-containing beauty products). Seems most women got back to normal fairly quickly after removing their copper IUD. A few on there took more time, like me and some others here. (I've had mine out over 4 years ago). I think I'll see if my Dr will let me test my copper and zinc levels next time I go in. I'm due in a couple months to get my TSH levels checked again.
The site by Dr. Wilson on copper toxicity lists all of my symptoms.

I just don't have a few hundred bucks to get the hair analysis, diet plan, etc done by them.
SB1108, thank you so much for pointing this out! I saw several women on the site you referenced that had trouble with Mirena, had it taken out, then went with Paraguard, and still had trouble. Very interesting....
Best wishes for your continued recovery!
