I didnt ask her about that because she pretty much just tried to convince me to use those 2 topical ointments to treat Psoriasis the whole time. I will probably wait until my crusts are a little thinner before I start using moisturizer and probably wont use vaseline because it didnt seem to help in the past, although its hard to say because I dont know how long I actually let my lips be, while using it. I made a post awhile ago asking if anyone used vaseline and refrained from picking/biting their lips for an extended period of time, but nobody really responded. So I dont even know if all of our hatred toward vaseline is even valid.

Anyways I used to use that burts beeswax chapstick before I had EC and it was great. It was the only chapstick I would use. But the kind I use was a stick, so it would be hard to apply over these scabs.
