Re: Fluctuating TSH level. Fluke or possible cause for concern?
1. "i'm "boderline" hypothyroid & even low doses of Armour seem to be too much of a good thing. So, I'm doing things in support of my thyroid:"
A: How do you determine that you're borderline hypothyroid? The thing that sort of confuses me is that it seems like you can be hypothyroid even if your results dont show it. It seems that if you fit the criteria, there's a pretty good chance that you are hypothyroid. Thats the part im not too sure about. I did check out stopthethyroidmadness and actually ordered the book so maybe that will provide more insight. lol
In regards to the question in my original post, do you think that having a result of a high TSH level for that one blood draw could be random or is it a possible indication of an issue? I have a lot of the symptoms, my mom has a hypothyroid, and im dealing with adrenal issues right now.
2. "eating coconut oil
taking D3 supplements (I'm low)
eating fermented foods like sauerkraut & water kefir
eatin grass-fed beef, good liver sources
moderate exercise
gently cleansing my liver w/daily doses of triphala & eating raw beet salads daily"
A: That sounds very helpful. Does it seem to be helping you? The exercise part is definitely out of the question for me since any exercise wipes me out completely. Have you tried
Iodine supplementation? I'm just learning about it and was wondering more about it.
3. "That's all for now, but I hope to gently increase other helpful things as my body allows."
A: What other things do you think would help? Thanks for the response and I definitely hope you get better!
