Re: After how many rounds of frequent dose chelation did you begin to feel better?
I guess it won't be a short process then. I've been chelating for 5 months. I started the first weekend after New Year's (so, 1/7/12). I chelate Saturday-Monday.
I have met with improvements. For example, I know how to ward off a hunger crash - just how much food I need to eat, and can have "3 meals" days just fine. I have enough energy that I now hop a certain fence, throwing myself up with one arm, and then walk along it, when going for a walk almost every day. And I've lost some weight/waist, though not much, but enough to affect my pants/shorts size.
And that's it. Even as my side effects from taking ALA decreased, and I increased my dose over time, etc., I haven't met with much else in the way of improvement.
Now, are side effects a warning that I may crash my endocrine system if I keep it up? What if I have almost no side effects, is that when I increase dose?
I still want to have more energy and interest/drive. At work, I just don't have much, but years ago I did. Days sometimes feel interminable, while they didn't before. I'd see an improvement here as a major marker of change.
