Age dependent. I can imagine. I'm 31 and officially autistic (I didn't talk until I was 3, and had to go to a special school when I was little, and had problems when mainstreamed). I really can't wait for the big improvement period, whenever that is.
I took few supplements at first, and did go off them for a while. Now I'm on a few more than I was before. I may be in a "down" period, as I am feeling worse than I was before, so I'm adding B-complex, magnesium, and fish oil (doesn't Whole Foods only carry fish oil that's guaranteed mercury-free?) now.
I just moved up to 60mg ALA. I'm wondering if I should lower it to avoid a crash, as you point out. I'm just frustrated with the slow pace of progress.
