If I were in a jam, I'd grab some Potable Aqua chlorine dioxide tablets, CAREFULLY add citric acid and CAREFULLY run them through a series of gas traps with silicon tubing/glass components (baby bottles) to whack back the infection. Alternatively, one could try the food-grade hydrogen peroxide, another oxidizer. Lysine is an anti-viral so I'd complement my therapy with that. It's cheap. Tweet
