Re: Lugols's Solution - Iodine-Induced Hyperthyroidism? Or Herxhimer?

Thank you for response.

I am left wondering at this stage, not your response but I guess my stupidity on this issue.

I took the Lugols Solution for only 2 days and one morning at 10 drops in morning, lunch and then dinner.

I have been taking Kelp every other day for now months now, stopped when this unbalanced started.

I also use a lot of Sea Salt , never regular table salt .

I exercise regularly, always have to much energy, can eat a banana or drink green tea and go for hours running.
Take wheat grass juice daily and the list goes on and on. . . . . . . .

It has been almost 6 days and I continue to feel mentally fussy and very low energy.

I have always been slim (real ectomorph), always been hard to gain weight. Always health up to now.

These test were taken 2 days after I stopped taking Lugol's, all in range.

CBC was all in range
USG Thyroid, liver, pancreas, etc, OK
TSH 3.6933 uIU/ml
FT4 1.29 ng/dl
ALT 20 U/l
AST 25 U/l
KREATINE 0.85

The only thing I think at this stage is to take selenium, but honestly not knowledgeable enough to know if I should.

Very disappointed and honestly scared.
