Some ideas
What do you think about reducing inflammation in the body and supplying some food-based supplements?
Some important nutrients are Vitamins A, Bs, C, and E, Zinc, Magnesium, Selenium, plus the Omega 3's that you mentioned are important. Sulfur rich foods is another idea.
This site has some general ideas:

I don't agree with NOT taking iodine/iodide, but it may make
Acne worse due to how iodine/iodide works in the body. It's something to consider after the skin starts to clear and heal.
As a suggestion, MegaFoods has an Iron free one a day whole food multivitamin. If you can find something similar, it might work better than synthetics.
For the fat soluble whole food vitamins, a suggestion is Garden of Life's Raw Vitamin E complex, unless you can find something better. Another suggestion is Toco-8. Again, you're free to chose what you want, but most Vitamin E in stores is not whole. E is a complex. New Chapter has a selenium/E food complex as well.
